O estudo comparou os impactos causados por visitantes monitorados e não monitorados durante mergulhos com snorkel e encontrou que os visitantes não monitorados causaram mais impactos, especialmente tocando em algas. Programas de educação ambiental são necessários para reduzir os impactos do ecoturismo nessas áreas protegidas.
